This is where it all began. An idea that originated back in 2009 about travelling the world, creating songs and recording with the people you met along the way. Then life happened and everything took a different turn – until covid. During the pandemic lockdown, Steven Helhammer was born and songs (new and old) emerged. The concept about collaborating and growing together became very relevant again due to the lockdown.
Steven started working with legendary Swedish session guitarist and producer, Tommy Denander (Alice Cooper, TOTO, Paul Stanley, Joe Perry etc) and used singers from bands he met during a podcast he started during lockdown.
The first single came “The Whole World Is Singing This Song (feat. KYHNAU)” came out 31.07.2021, with the second “In The Sludge (feat. Daniel Connell)” to follow on the 31.08.21 The third, “0S&1S (feat Tony Westwood & Kym Redmond)”, was released (very fitting) on the 01.10 same year.
The collaboration project also led to creating the Ambassadors of Rock collaboration concept Perth United with Perth guitarist and singer, Jacob Kenny.
The latest project is Perth tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins that was a huge inspiration to Steven. You can read more about that project here
